Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Cevto (the "Platform"), operated by Cevto, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Cevto is an online marketplace: we connect buyers (customers, creators and businesses) with sellers (independent creative professionals and creators) and hold payments in escrow until the work is approved. Cevto is not a party to the work itself.
1. Accounts
You must be 18 or older, use your own mobile number, and keep your account details accurate. One person may hold several roles (customer, professional, creator, business). You are responsible for all activity on your account.
2. Bookings and deals
- A booking or deal becomes binding when the buyer pays. The seller must accept within a reasonable time; urgent bookings must be accepted within 30 minutes or they are refunded automatically.
- Counter offers on campaigns are binding once both sides accept and the business pays.
- Sellers must deliver what was agreed (service, deliverables, platform, timeline). Buyers must review delivered work within the review window (currently 3 days); otherwise payment is released automatically.
3. Prices, payments, commission and payouts
- All prices on Cevto are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are shown in full before you pay. Customers pay exactly the listed price; there is no convenience fee.
- Buyers pay the full amount up front through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). Cevto holds it until the work is approved.
- Cevto keeps a platform commission (currently 15%, shown before checkout) from the seller's payout.
- Payouts go to the seller's registered UPI ID or bank account, normally within 2 business days of release. Sellers are responsible for their own taxes.
- Paying or accepting payment outside Cevto for work found on Cevto is not allowed and removes escrow protection.
4. Cancellations and refunds
See our Cancellation & refund policy. In short: full refund before the seller starts; 80% refund after the seller has accepted; full refund if the seller cancels or fails to deliver. Refunds reach the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
5. Disputes
Either side can report an issue while a booking is in progress or delivered. Payment stays on hold while Cevto reviews the evidence (chat, delivered files, links). Cevto's decision to release or refund is final for the purpose of the escrow; it does not limit your legal rights.
6. Content and conduct
You own what you upload and grant Cevto a licence to display it on the Platform. Do not post illegal, misleading or infringing content; do not harass other users; do not create fake reviews or accounts. Verified badges mean we checked the linked accounts, not that we guarantee the work.
7. Promotions
Creators must follow the rules of Instagram, YouTube and other platforms, including disclosure of paid partnerships (#ad / paid promotion label). Businesses must not request content that is false or unlawful.
8. Liability
Cevto provides the Platform "as is". We are not liable for the quality of work, missed shoots, or losses arising between users beyond the amount held in escrow for that booking. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
9. Termination
We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law. Money already held in escrow is still settled according to the dispute rules above.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-law rights you have.
