Delete your Cevto account
You can delete your Cevto account at any time, from the app or by email. This page applies to the Cevto app on Android, iOS and the web (https://app.cevto.com).
Delete from the app
- Open Cevto and go to Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. You are signed out immediately and the account is deleted.
Delete by email
If you cannot open the app, email hello@cevto.com from any address with the subject Delete my account and the mobile number registered on Cevto. We confirm by calling or messaging that number and delete the account within 7 working days.
What is deleted
- Your name, mobile number, email, photo, city and location.
- Your professional, creator or business listing, services, portfolio links and payout (bank / UPI) details.
- Your login, so the account cannot be used again. The same mobile number can later create a new, empty account.
What is kept, and for how long
- Records of completed bookings, payments, refunds and payouts, as required by Indian tax and payment law, for up to 8 years. These records show "Deleted user" instead of your name.
- Reviews and chat messages you exchanged inside bookings stay visible to the other party of that booking, without your name or photo.
Before you delete
An account cannot be deleted while a paid booking is still in progress or while earnings are waiting to be paid out. Complete or cancel active bookings and request your payout first. Unpaid bookings are cancelled automatically.
